Treatment

Please can I ask what made you chose the treatment your one and is there any you wouldn’t recommend Tia x
@applejacks

My neurologist gave me like 4 pamphlets of different medications. From reading them all & doing my research, I chose Ocrevus due to my lifestyle. Going every 6 months for the infusion just works for me with my busy work & life schedule. Also, I haven’t really heard any negative reviews for it. I also met with a woman, think she was an Ocrevus rep, who showed me the statistics of the drug & how well it works, so that made me more confident with my decision too. Good luck!

I chose a CD20 treatment (Ocrevus first, now Kesimpta) because statistically they're among the best drugs we have for slowing relapses and reducing MS activity. They're considered high-efficacy treatments and have built up a decent amount of long-term data now, which gave me confidence in them. Springer +1 As for Ocrevus vs Kesimpta, there honestly isn't much in it for me. They're the same flavour of treatment, both target CD20 B-cells, and both are highly effective. It mostly comes down to personal preference and lifestyle. Ocrevus is an infusion every 6 months, whereas Kesimpta is a quick injection at home once a month. Wikipedia +1 I've been living with RRMS for 81 months now, worked full-time throughout, trained in the gym, raised 3 kids causing absolute chaos, and CD20 therapy has been a big part of helping me stay on my feet. No DMD is perfect and they all have pros and cons, but personally I'd make the same choice again.
