How long from mri results did people get a diagnosis
Hi I’m new and know know nothing about ms I was admit to hospital about 2 weeks ago with a facial droop and numbness in my right side of face. I had an mri and have been referred to Walton nuro to see an ms specialist dose anyone know how long it takes for them to advise if u have ms I have had other symptoms but put it down to having total thyroid removal or thinking I was going through the change can u share ur experiences please x
MS is not always easy to diagnose so be prepared for the MRI not to prove either way. Hopefully it will help them to help you quickly, with whatever it is
@ClaireVS I’ve seen the letter from the hospital to the nuro from my mri results it says several foci of high t2 signal in the corona radiata of the cerebral hemisphere bilaterally particularly on the right side which suggests demenlination dut to multiple sclerosis but I have no clue what any of that means x
