Taking It One Day at a Time
I’m trying to build small routines that help me cope: resting when my body needs it, keeping up at manageable pace, staying connected with supportive people, and writing down changes.

Hi, I have had MS for a very long time. Before pills and potions became so readily. Mainly coping moderately and getting on with my life that of a wife and mother of a 3 year old little boy. Getting through Double vision. Dizziness and nausea. Years on I had a very bad MS episode. Nothing was prescribed for me for the awful sickness, my husband was told to get tonic water. This took effect after a short while. My GP and a consultant came to see me. By this time the nausea ceased and just double vision to cope with. The Consultant told me "Don't look for Lions in your path." Which has been a good piece of advice....now I wonder how my life would have been had l been given the pills and potions of today. I have had very little intervention for the MS just one infusion years ago. Since the bad MS attack and my husband helping me to walk again. I had some weakness in my left leg. And carried on regardless. And of course, Not Looking for Lions in my path. This piece of advice l pass to you. If a Medico asks about MS it's not MS it the Elton John syndrome....I'm still standing.
