Struggling to adjust to diagnosis
Is anyone else struggling to adjust (or did struggle) to their diagnosis?
I was diagnosed with RRMS back in March of this year and I’m feeling low about it all, especially now I’m having to start to use a stick and my right leg is getting worse.
I’m having to think of things like grab rails around my flat and other things like that.
Any personal experiences or advice? Thank you. 🙏

Gravitate to things that build you up. God will sustain you pray daily. Focus on the blessings in your life and stay greatful for them. Family is always important. The gym helps both physically and mentally. I don’t sleep much. I spend many late night early mornings in the gym. It really is helpful
Hi! I feel like everyone struggled with their diagnosis. I still struggle! It is a huge adjustment. I talked to a therapist who specialized in chronic illnesses. Helped me sort it out and get out a lot of feelings. I trying to keep active is good for mental and physical wellbeing but taking it slow is important. It is a big life change and will take time to adjust. Be kind to yourself—this stuff is hard!!
