The only issue is the first loading dose can be a “doozy”. It happened to me and I have seen numerous others who also experienced the side effects of the first loading dose. For myself it felt like the flu on steroids. Chills, terrible aches and what felt like a low grade temperature. It subsided after about 16 hours and then I slept a lot for the next 24-48 hours, but felt better each day. No issues with the other 2 loading doses or the 1st monthly injection.
