MS Clinic

Morning you gorgeous people, I have a little question about the MS Clinic. My first appointment is on Monday and I’m just asking if you can enlighten me on what to expect as I’m told the appointment will be about 45mins. Any information would be good to ease my anxiety xx Also would my husband be allowed to go in with me? Xx

They will book you in for a MRI scan and arrange some bloods tests, ask you your History and then do an exam testing your reflexes etc . This was carried out by the registrar , then maybe a quick chat with consultant and MS nurse ( mine was sat in the room) I once saw a whole family attend ! not sure how they all fitted in room , good luck

Your husband should definitely be allowed in with you. How you present & explain your symptoms is important. Probably arrange blood tests & an MRI in the first instance. Physical check of limb movement & reflexes..
