I’ve been on Tysabri since 2013 and haven’t had any significant side-effects or relapses since. Still have some spasticity and plenty of fatigue, but I’m very happy with this DMT. There’s so many more good choices these days. You can ask AI to describe the different MS DMTs and ask all of your questions. “Hi Copilot, tell me all the MS DMTs that are pills and can lessen my spasms.” Then “What are the side-effects?” Keep asking until you have an idea which one or which type you’re leaning toward. Then you can talk to your Neuro, VERIFY WHAT AI TOLD YOU, and ask anything else that comes up.
Tysabri was my favorite medication. But being JC Virus positive I had to come off of it after 15 years. Started Ocrevus which is every 6 months. I like that one too. But, new diagnosis of crohn's sent me back to using rebif and honestly I hate it. The crohn's med (Skyrizi) can't be taken with either Tysabri or Ocrevus. Wish I could go back on Tysabri because it treats both. @ZootieGirl I love CoPilot, picked a Caribbean sounding guy for the voice.
