I do some exercises I got off a physio a few yrs ago for sciatic pain but still no relief. Sorry for rambling on just need the help as I'm in agony.. Thank you in advance

@Scooby76 I'm not entirely sure about this, but if you are in pain I'm thinking that baclofen won't do much for pain. Are you prescribed gabapentin, pregabelin, or alikes? Can you ask for a referral to pain team? Hope so. It's so bloody tiring being in pain. Lisa xxx

Hi ..I too have suddenly got extreme pain in my legs which sometimes radiates to my back. I have taken neurofen for it and that actually does stop the pain however I need to take the pain killer every four hours and the dosage states not more than 3 times in 24 hours which means I am in pain most of the night! It also meant I could hardly walk because of the pain and the dodgy leg. I have very highly increased sensitivity in one leg in particular which is new. I have a very high pain threshold so not into taking pain killers Spoke to my newly found ( after a year with no one) ms nurse who came to see me this week for the first time. She said it was hard to say whether this was muscular or neuro pain as normal painkillers don't affect the latter. However she suggested trying amitryptiline 10 to 20 mgs which can also be used with ordinary painkillers. Started the amitryptiline last night ...but still awful pain so took painkillers too. It's difficult because it is so easy to say everything is ms when this could actually be something completely different All very confusing to a novice like me.
