I can't say for certain because I don't know what I'd be like now had I not have done it but I believe it does help because I'm still leading an almost normal life with some adjustments in place during physical exercise and I've done yoga / Pilates / Bodybalance for the past ten years.

Pilates is amazing! I go in curled up like a prawn and leave standing up properly, honestly the difference is that big (for me).
