Speech Issues

It’s been 32 days since my last flare up off my speech from the day it started and have now got the same problems again, I was fine in the morning but my voice changed at work today. I’m on my period and have had a lack of sleep and poorly. I’m so worried that I not going to get the right help because the last MRI I had showed no significant changes in my MS but I don’t know what more I can do. I am going back to hospital so I can have steroids again to help. Please can someone assure me I’m not going crazy and even though there’s not significant changes in my MRI it doesn’t mean to say that there hasn’t been a change in my symptoms in the last year or so and could there of potentially been a change whilst I hadn’t had my MRI before this new symptom has occurred?

Unfortunately, other issues that you may be having or even issues that you don’t even know that you’re having can be causing symptoms that may seem to be MS related. They’re called pseudo symptoms so even if you get like a cold or if you got hurt or if you’re upset or if you’re really angry or what not it all can act like it’s your MS but truly not be your MS but believe me you’re not losing your mind. I’ve had MS for over 17 years. Believe me I know.

It’s so frustrating, because I have been fine for a whole month and now it’s gone back to how I was when I had my last flare up…I’m still waiting for my MRI with contrast as well to see what type of MS it is and what they want to do in terms of medication.
