Delayed kesimpta Injection due to illness

I have had to delay my Injection by 8 days due to a chest infection and concern about it stopping working. My family keep saying its fine they factor in changes of dates and delays (they have no knowledge of MS) but I am not so sure. My parents said they probably only need you to do 10 Injections rather than 12 a year...slightly infuriating as I am sure that's not true? On a more positive note, anyone in London try and go to the Kew Christmas lights! They were great x

I had to skip my latest kesimpta by a fortnight last month as I had Covid around the time of my scheduled injection. Its not a problem. Just take it when you're healthy then restart the monthly clock. That was the advice I got. Since then the delivery company is now informed so they change thir approximate delivery dates.

My understanding is that kesimpta has a longer wash out period than a month (maybe a year?) So leaving it an extra week or so won't make a huge difference, i.e. your b cells won't regenerate that quickly.
