Accessible cabs
I went to London last week from Seville! When I came out of the airport, I looked For an accessible cab for my scooter! They said yes, but it didn’t have any ramp, so they had to csrry me between four people to get me inside the car and they charged me £120 £. I thought then that it was a question of organising the trip before so the following day I used Uber expecting them to have a car with a ramp but it was always unavailable. on the way back to the airport I found a man with a car who said that he could pull my scooter inside, but when he came the sit was really high so I couldn’t climb On top, so a friend was helping me, The cab driver said that he couldn’t help me unless I gave him £20 and he also said That because I wasn’t gonna take less than 10 minutes getting out of the car, he had to charge me another £28! any advices about accessible cabs for the next time I go to London? Thank you!
