What does an MS nurse do?
I was diagnosed with MS last week and have an appointment with an MS nurse this week. What do they do? What is their role? Any key things I need to ask them? Thanks.

They will test your hand strength and have you put things together to make sure your hands are working and they will have you walk.. They want to see hand movement.and coordination.
My nurse just talked me through my MS diagnosis, confirming RRMS and discussion around medication. We decided on my treatment, she arranged bloods to be taken on the day then ordered my meds which get delivered to my home. She advised me on diet change and supplements to take. She didn't do any assessments with me. I seen her in Sept and have a follow up appointment in Feb 2025
