Fampridine
Hello
Has anyone in the UK been prescribed Fampridine by the NHS yet ?
My sister is paying £360 a month for a private prescription , which seems excessive.
Thankfully her walking speed has improved and she is now able to get into the car without having to physically lift her own leg into the car.

Excessive but so worth it by the sounds of things for your sister! Super chuffed for her! I shall look into this as emailed my MS team over at UCLH a couple of months back! Haven’t heard from them! But seeing my neurologist in January so will ask him. Do you know if there was specific criteria you had to be to prescribed it privately? Thank you for sharing be good to see if anyone else has had positive or negative effects from it 🫶
