TIA and MS

I just had an episode where I thought I was heading into a flare but it turned quickly and they think I had a TIA that gave me a pseudo flare. Still waiting for more testing but honestly terrifying. My pupil was fixed and dilated, numb and tingling. Feeling of falling. I couldn’t move my arm, or speak, vomiting profusely. Walking was impossible. I was shaking uncontrollably and vibrating for hours. Cat scan in ER was “clear” but my neurologist seems to think it was a TIA. Was sent home to follow up with my doc. He said it pretty common with women and MS has anyone else experienced anything like this.?

That sounds frightening, I am glad that you are okay. I hope they find the cause soon, and stabilize your system.

@Tadd

Yeah, my TIA lasted a little longer, was able to make it to my optimisrist and they confirmed TIA…hence the IV steroids (all clear water that)!
