Retuximab

To my friends on Retuximab—did you have a reaction during your first infusion/loading dose? I had my loading dose in June, and I had my throat close up, I was super itchy, and I was also very flushed. Am I alone in this?

I didn’t have a reaction, but they infused at a slow pace that first time. Also had pre-meds of Tylenol and a Zyrtec an hour before, and also a small dose of solumedral at the beginning. Now when I have an infusion (have one coming up next week) I am usually done in 2-3 hours.

@belljo For me, they upped the rate every half hour. I started at 25ml/hr, and they increased it by 10/½hr. I was stuck at 30 for 16 hours. Spent the night in the hospital obviously haha. I get 500ml.
