Living with RRMS
My son suggested I share my journey with MS so that many of you do not feel alone...
Officially diagnosed on 5/14/2014.
The first 10 years was decent with limited balance issues and weakness. However, the past 3 years have proven very difficult with my balance and trouble walking. I still experience weakness and lots of emotional moments. By the grace of God I am so blessed and thankful for the husband, son, family and friends that are constantly by my side. I still work and have been blessed with so many wonderful and understanding people in my life. A great support system is so important when dealing with this disability. I thank God everyday for waking me up and giving me the opportunity to grow old with my husband, son and family and friends.
Please understand this disease made me adjust my lifestyle in so many ways which haven't always been easy. At times I still struggle accepting it but I honestly refuse to give in to this disease. My mom made me a very strong Puerto Rican. I will continue to stay as strong as I can be with the neverending support and blessings from my husband, son, family and friends.

Stay powerful, MS Warrior!!
