Potential MS diagnosis, sudden vision issues - now diagnosed
Hello everyone,
Long story short a spell of vertigo has lead me down this pathway, Ive had Lumber Puncture recently along with MRI etc etc and am awaiting a potential MS diagnosis, the last 3 days I have terrible double vision, to the point where I am wearing an eye patch to be able to read or generally do anything.
Anyone else has this and how long has it lasted for you? I'm scared this could be permanent
Thanks, Mike
Edit: two days after this post I ended up in hospital with my left eye facing the wrong direction and severe double vision. I was admitted to hospital and waited to see our MS specialist doctor, essentially he has been able to review all my scans, LP results and has diagnosed me with MS. Now on steroids and awaiting to see the MS nurse and get on a treatment program, this has been a very emotional journey over Christmas full of laughter and crying in equal amounts but I have such a wonderful family, full of support, my son's have both stepped up to help mum and it has been great. Thank you all for the support and advice, still hoping my eyes get back to normal like so many of you!
I had it the wierd vision couple of days.
Was one of my first symptoms over 30 years ago.
