Hi, there was a post on here regarding the above drug, can anyone shed some light on dosage and side effects please, I have bought some privatey and want to be careful.

Hi @melly777, I’ve been on Fampyra for a while - you take it every 12 hours on an empty stomach and don’t eat until at least 1hour afterwards. If you miss a dose don’t double up or anything- I usually take one at 10am and I eat brunch at 11am ish and then I take one in the evening at 10pm. It does seem to be effective as I notice if I miss a dose and my walking is worse. I believe it doesn’t stay in the system for long hence the missed dose causing decreased walking ability. Hi Melly777 I started this medication 3 weeks ago and I have found it to work my walking has improved. The drug name is 4 Aminopyridine. Hope this helps Ian The MS Australia website has information about it.
