Coworker drama
It's really sad when some people, who you've respected and appreciated trash you when you have to miss work. I should have known but I really thought better of some people. My bad for trying to see the good I guess. So they upped my FMLA finally because I've had so many issues lately. Now some coworkers are accusing me of just wanting a long weekend or an extra day off because we are all tired and stressed out. I wish they could feel it ... Just once... The difference between being tired and when you literally have pissed yourself because making it to the bathroom felt like a temple of doom quest kind of fatigue. I feel bad enough that I have a hard time keeping up anyway.
Don’t worry about work colleagues, they aren’t friends! I’ve worked in a toxic team like that who I liked and worked with for 8 years. I had to go through lots of meetings etc and was going to be redeployed and my dad was dying and I felt so guilty to go off because it was Christmas. I met with a union rep who told me ‘Helen you are just a number, do what’s right for you’. It was the best bit of advice any one has ever given me!!! I went off sick for2 months then quit and never spoke to anyone from there again 🥳
