Optic Neuritis

Hello! I was diagnosed with RRMS in 2021 (right leg weakness, numbness in both legs and lhermittes sign). Currently on glatopa and I'm dairy free. ( Also 4 months postpartum with my second daughter) I've been very fortunate and have had extremely minimal symptoms since my initial diagnosis. However recently got optic neuritis and I've struggled a lot mentally with it. I know I'm lucky because no pain and I'm still able to achieve 20/20 with my glasses but my contrast is awful and colors are affected to. It's only been 3 weeks since it started and I did super high dose steroids which I'm sure helped prevent worsening but curious about others experience with optic neuritis, specifically contrast and color changes. Did it take a while but then did you have rapid improvement months later or was it very slow steady improvement just over the course of a long time? Thanks!

Decent improvement in 1st 6mths at which point vision was still far from ideal. Then very slow improvement year after year. You might have to accept you will have Uthofs Phenomena going forward - have a read up on it.
