My wife is a school teacher and has been on fir close to 20 years. Due to recent progressions I have been experiencing, she is wanting to step away so she can be here with me. I don't want that, because I don't want her existence to be a caregiver, more importantly, my caregiver. This is not an attempt to take shots at family members that have taken that charge and stepped up to the plate. I salute you all that have. It's partially me, not accepting that, that's where I am. It's also, me not wanting her to step away after 20 years. I'm staying hopeful that this is not my new baseline. Just a flare, I guess. What are your thoughts.
