Wanting to understand MS better

I do not have MS but my fiance does. I joined this group to understand MS better and learn how to help her when she is having a flair up or an MS attack. She has told me lots about her experience and I want to more ways I can help her. What are your experiences and what has helped you?
@ClaireVS

More than anything compassion, support & understanding really help someone with MS. I would be lost without my husband who has always supported me. He helps with those tasks I can no longer do & encourages me to do what I can! You obviously care otherwise you wouldn't be on there. Thank you for caring for your fiance - I'm sure she appreciates you.

@matt1982...first of all, you are an incredible supporting, loving, and compassionate human beings for taking the time to better understand and support your fiance. MS manifests differently for everyone because everyone is biologically unique. Main negative common factor for everybody is stress. When encounter, rest and decompression is recommended. Your fiance is incredibly fortunate to have found a person who cares about her so much. Congratulations and Good luck!!!
