Normal???
My first and only experience with a DMT was awful. It sent my into a flare that lasted the entire time I took that med. Once I came off that medication I felt good again. But I have reached a point where after much consideration and conversation with my MS doctor, my natural health doctor and my family it is time to try a new medication. Vumerity is what my MS doctor advised. How many people feel good, normal, health while taking their dmt? If it possible to achieve a normal life again after a diagnoses of multiple sclerosis?

Baclofen was horrible for me. Lasted 3 months on it, couldn’t get out of bed the whole time. Copaxone left baseball sized welts all over my body that burned and hurt. Last 3 years on that one, before getting PTSD about going into the injection room. Tecfidera burned 🔥 me up from the inside, whole body turned bright red, sheets soaked with sweat, every night. Lasted several years on those pills. Ocrevus took 4-7 hours for infusion/observation. No side effects, but the “Crap Gap” lasts 2-5 weeks in the middle of the next infusion, where all of your deficits activate at once at you feel like 🐕 💩 until the next infusion kicks into gear. Kesimpta was lovely! 2 day crap gap, no other side effects. Insurance company messed that one up for me. Simple answer: you will never be normal, but your life can be quite pleasant, if you mitigate your deficits, correct your version of acceptability to better match your reality. Sure things are different, but different is just different. Not necessarily bad. Changing how we perceive our paradigm can change our entire lives. I truly enjoy helping other MS people live happier lives. I ran support groups on FB before it got weird and icky. This site is more calm, and focused.
Betaseron I meant for the first one! I
