Any teachers who can help?

Hi, I’m a primary teacher. Started my new school in 2024. Diagnosed in 2025 🥴 I told my school straight away. I was given commendations by the CEO of the Trust for my work at the start of my time at the school. I have had no questions about my performance - until now. A HUGE increase in workload (I’m part time and had inconsistent job shares for a while) has meant I have been struggling MS wise for a while now, probably since Jan or Feb. I’ve been trying to hide it and just get on etc… but I had a meeting with my headteacher following two weeks of intense scrutiny and she said in a nutshell I was underperforming and looking at a support plan! Anyway, I totally crashed - verging on a breakdown and MS has gone wild😢. I’ve been signed off and asked to be re referred to OH. They’ve recommended I be signed off for longer. But I just don’t know what to do. One of the questions on their referral was would I be able to be subject to a disciplinary? It’s my first time my performance has ever been questioned in 22 years! Any advice or anything would be most welcome 🙏🏻 I know if I go back the stress and scrutiny will be immediate and I’ll be back to trying to struggle through probably with a support plan and/or the sack! Sorry for the long message, just not quite sure which way to turn? Maybe I need out of teaching and this is the kick I need?

Just gotta breathe Louise. Give it a break and recharge is my opinion. Gotta listen to your body. Take the hints and move forward again when u feel fit. Best Jorge
