Do I continue...

I finally saw a neurologist. She says she thinks that my right sided numbness (that has been on going for 7 months now) is headache related. This was shocking to me because HA is not a main symtom for me. I have numbness with pins and needles, "hot patches" that come and go in various parts of my extremities, dizziness, nausea and, balance issue. These are just some of my symtoms. I am growing tired of all these doctors telling me that they don't know what's wrong, but I know there is something. Don't know whether to continue on with 2nd opinion or just listen to the neurologist and start taking HA injections. The problem is the main side effect of this medication she wantsme to take is...numbness and tingling.

Demand an MRI. It's their job to help you & do as you ask. If it is "headache" related, then an MRI should be standard to see if something more is going on. My doctors didn't take me seriously until my right side went numb & felt submerged in a bucket of ice water. Got the MRIs & guess what, I have lesions all over the place. If your doctor won't order it, find a new one. Or your GP could order it if your neuro won't. I was under the care of a neuro for a year & he ordered every test but an MRI. When I was diagnosed with MS by another neurologist, I went off on him for dismissing my MS concerns. Told him his license should be yanked. Unfortunately, there are just as many bad doctors as there are good. Hang in there & advocate for your health🖤

Thank you for your feedback. I had and MRI (brain and cervical)back in December 2024 that was ordered by my GP. It was clear except for one white spot. Should I ask for a Lumbar Puncture at this point? Or assume with clear MRI it isn't MS, but something else?
