This may be a silly question but when i was speaking to my ms nurse the day i was starting tecfidera she said im not due for more bloods till may and about a week ago im getting told i need to get bloods done before i go onto the higher dose but the nuse gave me the higher dose i just dont start it till next week and she never mentioned this to me can someone tell me whats true or not .
(Ps sorry about the long amount of words just trying make it clear to understand)
It's normal to get bloods checked before you start,then have 120mgs for 1 to 2 weeks then go onto 240mgs and have bloods rechecked at 3mths. Never heard of a blood check between the starter and full dose. Not recommending you do this but if it were me I would crack on and start the 240s when you finish the 120s.
@RC83 thats what i was thinking because i did get them done at the start but i was told straight away when my next one and they said every 3 months to check everything ok but whats the point of checking inbetween doses they gave me a month supply of the 120mg then im on the 240 next Friday
