I am in the process of being diagnosed with TN . I have had the symptoms for nearly 8 years pain in the left side of my face swelling as well over that years . Been going back-and-forth to dentist and doctor and no one told me it could be this. The way I found out was making my GP to send me to a ENT thinking it was my sinuses and he said it wasn’t because of CT scans showed nothing then he sent me to the correct person to tell me I likely have TN. I still have to go for a MRI to see why I am getting swelling on my left cheek where I’m getting the TN and pain from because she says it is unusual to have swelling. Does anybody else have swelling? And a new symptom I have got in the last five days is a lot of saliva and I am dribbling really bad and apparently this is another symptom of TN. So I am on no medication because not really diagnosed until I get my MRI. I’m scared because the first person I saw regarding this gave me medication which flared up all my MS symptoms which is a lot of weakness and I had to Stop it after two days. it a bit scary because now another symptom because of MS just sucks
