Ocrevus
Hey guys! I get my first Ocrevus infusion next week. Well, I get 1/2 of a full dose and then go back 2 weeks later for the other 1/2. What should I expect? Is there anything I should or could do afterwards that’ll make me feel comfortable. My Dr said I’ll probably feel really tired and have 0 energy and it might make me nauseous. I’m a little nervous about it.
Since my first Ocrevus infusion, I always get a sore throat at the beginning. Drinking tea during it always helps. I also get very tired (usually for the first one or two hours), so good headphones and a neck pillow help. I personally didn't feel nauseous during or after the infusion, but the nurses can certainly help if that's the case for you. After the infusion, I usually sleep for an hour at home, and then I generally feel better. Drinking plenty of water afterward also helps flush out the system.
