Covid on Kesimpta
I got a bad cold and took an at home test for Covid after a few days because it was getting worse even though I started an antibiotic. The test came back positive. I were I get Covid more than anyone I know and I am careful. Anyway, my doctor wouldn’t prescribe an antiviral and it’s been like 7 days and I am sicker than I have ever been. I’m really contemplating some other MS med. Any advice on what might not suppress me so much? I’m the coughing is making my trimengial neuralgia pop up and I just feel like I’m sick of being so miserably sick every cold and virus that passes. It’s like your not living anyway. I’m hoping I get better without the antiviral but dang I’m miserable.

@juwa52...just having MS is a whole body inflammation. Being on a DMT it lowers your immune system to prevent a MS relapse. Therefore, you have a whole body inflammation (MS) with a compromised (lower) immune system to under viral attack. You need to resort back classic and natural solutions: teas, soups, honey, garlic, clove. I understand why he resisted to give you more chemicals to your super inflamed body who is already under attack from MS. It's a risk that some doctors with consciousness don't take. All DMT's purpose is to lower immune system to prevent relapses. Good Luck!!!
