A day with MS

In a world that spins a tad too fast, Where MS folks must break the cast, A funny poem to share the light, On how they live, both day and night. Awake at dawn with body guessing, “What today? A curse or blessing?” Coffee spills, a tremor’s greeting, Socks mismatched, but heart still beating. They plan their day with care, precision, Yet MS has its own vision. A simple stroll, a marathon, With legs that whisper, “Are you done?” The mighty warriors dress with flair, Though balance acts like it’s unfair. One shoe on, and then a pause, “Forget the lace, let’s Velcro, because…” In meetings, minds run marathon races, While bodies vie for scarce oasis. A sudden nap may seize the scene, Dreams blending work with tangerine. Lunchtime comes, a puzzle feast, Fork or spoon? The beast released. A soup that leaps, a sandwich dive, With MS, dining’s quite the jive. Afternoons are for ambitions, Or sometimes, just Netflix missions. Fatigue might swing its heavy mace, Yet, in their eyes, you'll find no trace. Evening brings its own ballet, Of pills and shots that chase dismay. A dance with needles, grace abounds, In search of balance, healing’s grounds. And yet amidst these highs and lows, A vibrant life uniquely flows. For every stumble, there's a laugh, Each obstacle, a conquered path. They live, they love, they cry, they fight, Embracing every day and night. MS warriors, bold and bright, In challenges, they find their light. So here’s a cheer for resilience, For humor in the face of defiance. For despite the struggles they daily face, They tackle life with unmatched grace. Something I have been working on lol
