Covid vaccine on DMTs
Just as a curiosity, did you have any sort of “special requirements” for the vaccine? I mean this in terms of having to be X days after an injection (Kesimpta here)
Just thiught this was curious since I personally never seen this being mentioned in any MS community? Maybe just some overcaution by the pharmacists?
Speak to your MS specialist as the guidance might be different in your country but my understanding is that for most higher efficacy DMTs you need to wait 2-6 weeks depending on the type of vaccine. Good luck!! 😊😊😊
When I rang my Kesimpta nurse, she said it should be 2 weeks after (and therefore also 2 weeks before) you inject. I've e-mailed my MS nurse to confirm this...
