Christina Applegate, second opinion?

Has anyone considered or actually gotten a second opinion after MS diagnosis? I was diagnosed from an MRI alone & after reading about Christina’s misdiagnosis I can’t shake the feeling that it could be something else. From what I’m reading online she had an MRI & spinal tap & was still somehow misdiagnosed??

The part that don’t make sense to me is how tf does someone with her kinda health care get misdiagnosed? She’s got money to afford the best of health care and they got it wrong? I’ve never even seen my neuro in person they from hrs away from me just been video visits and they showing me the holes on screen from the mri. I can’t walk well and don’t think mine was misdiagnosed but just don’t make sense how someone with her kinda money can be misdiagnosed.

I did get a second opinion after I was diagnosed. I was fairly certain the diagnosis was correct. But I also wanted a second opinion on treatment options. I went to the Mayo Clinic for my second opinion. I ended up switching my care there. Glad I did.
