Pain between shoulder blades. MS Hug?

Diagnosed in July 2024 following nystagmus. But for at least 5 years I’ve been getting a pain between my shoulder blades / upper back that’s a bit like a punch/ stab. It normally happens when I’ve been bent forwards and then it hits as I try to get upright again. Today it hit really badly and I felt it radiate round/ through to the front of my chest. Every time it happens I struggle to breathe. Anyone else experienced this? I saw an ms physio recently and she seemed convinced it wasn’t the MS hug

Rhomboids and middle traps are on a stretch in shoulder protraction seen when bent forward. They both actively pull the scapula back when in shoulder retraction. Both opposite movements and can be an irritating movement causing discomfort or pain.

@RC83

Yes as a result of trapped nerve under the vertebrae between my shoulders.
