There are various drugs as well, known as Disease Modifying Treatments. Many of these suppress the immune system or have other side effects so it’s always a balancing act. Eligibility for different NHS treatments will also depend on how active the MS is, so some may not be available. The MS Trust & MS Society have good information on their websites
