What to tell kids about MS?
What do people tell their kids about MS? My 6 year old son told me over the weekend that part of him doesn’t like me because my legs don’t work properly and I can take him to all the places (parks etc) wants to go. This, as you can imagine, made me feel really good about myself! 🙈🤦🏻♂️
I am sorry 🫂 In the States the National MS Society had a short video explaining it. It was a cartoon to help little ones understand a little about it. My boys are done with school now but, I have a little girl who is 7. So many times I wish my body could "take her to the park" ☹️ She understands but
Out of the mouths of babes right. I think it’s good your son felt safe enough to say that even though it hurt it’s better to be able to talk about it. Over time things will surely change.
