Dr Appt

I just met with a new primary care doctor for the first time and I am feeling good. She was VERY thorough and I felt like she actually listened to me and didn’t brush it off as “anxiety” or “needing to lose weight.” She wants to have an MRI of my brain done, which is what I wanted and I didn’t even have to ask. I’m hoping this gives us some answers, whether it’s MS or not. I’ve never left a doctors office feeling good until today and I am thankful for that

Whether this is MS or not, you are right to connect to this SHIFT MS group for answers and support. I do recall that initially I had an MRI of my brain and spine. You may want to ask your doctor whether your particular symptoms might warrant scanning both areas. I had only one minor spot on my brain but 2 distinct spots on my spine. So, just a question that you may ask your doctor. Glad you feel that your doctor was thorough and willing to look into this for you for clarity moving forward. Stay positive and ask God to take away any anxiety and give you a period of calm comfort, knowing that we live in a great age where technology can give us answers! Always grateful for what science can do for us today!
