My neurologist recommended Briumvi / Kesimpta / Ocrevus — how do I choose between them?

I had my second appointment, and they recommended those three treatments. What should I base my decision on? Is there anything in favor of or against any of them that you guys can share with me? I was diagnosed a month ago — any help or advice is very welcome. Also, is there anything that can help improve optic neuritis? I had 5 plasma exchanges and 8 days of steroids, but I’ve only improved about 50%. Dr. told me thats gonna be better with time… Any holistics things that may help? Chinese medicine? Thank you everyone! Have a good day 🫶🏼 Step my step, day by day 🙌🏼

From what I understand, they all work in a similar way to deplete B cells, and all are considered top-tier MS treatments. They all have similar side effects as well, which include increased risk of infection or irritation at injection / infusion site. Both Briumvi and Ocrevus require an infusion every six months (after initial loading) which takes a couple of hours, whereas kesimpta is a self administered injection at home once every four weeks. So if your neurologist is leaving the choice up to you, I think the biggest part of the decision is what works better for your lifestyle, infusions at the clinic twice a year, or injections at home once a month? I’m on kesimpta and I find it super easy and convenient. It’s an auto injector pen and takes all of two mins ☺️
