Seizure or passing out with fatigue?

Hey, first post. I'm just curious as to whether anyone has experienced anything similar to me? I've been suffering with symptoms since December 2023 but only got the MS diagnosis 29 April 2025 (long wait times on the NHS). My symptoms haven't been too concerning until recently. I was lying in bed (fully awake and feeling good) when my vision went completely blue and I felt my body go into a deep relax. My husband woke up to me unconscious, making a weird breathing sound and my right arm spasming. When I came too my body has never been so exhausted, it felt like the weight of me was pushing me down. I'm not dramatic and I've pushed through everything so far but I just lay there saying "get me help". That shit was scary. Ambulance came, spent a day in A&E getting tests to rule anything else out they sent me home saying they think it's a suspected MS related seizure, no driving for at least 6 months, referred to the seizure team. I've spoken to my MS nurse who says she's never come across something like this being MS related. I have an appointment with my neurologist on Tuesday and she hopes to get me on a DMT within a week. I'm just wondering, has anyone experienced anything like this and it be MS and not some other thing? I've just got diagnosed with MS, I don't want any more diagnosis. Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you for reading.

I know someone who has had seizures due to MS. I think they were prior to the MS diagnosis and drs were still considering all possibilities. Although seizures are less common with MS, they aren't unheard of. It's simply down to the lesion location.

Also, once they were on MS treatment, the seizure activity improved. It's a really stressful time for you so just focus on things in small chunks and try not to get overwhelmed. Great to hear your neuro wants to act with treatment promptly🙌💪
