Balancing Work, Life, and MS

Hi everyone, I’m Frank. I’m 60, have lived with MS for more than 25 years, and spent decades working in corporate leadership roles while navigating the realities that many of you know all too well: fatigue, disclosure decisions, career pressure, accommodations, MRIs, treatments, anxiety about the future… and trying to keep life moving forward anyway. A big reason I joined ShiftMS is because I know how isolating MS can feel especially for people trying to balance careers, family, identity, and health all at the same time. Over the last year I started a supportive resource/blog called BalancingMSLife.com focused on practical and honest conversations around:
• workplace disclosure and accommodations
• career impact and navigating corporate life with MS
• DEI and disability inclusion
• toolkits, technology, and adaptive strategies
• treatment experiences
• invisible symptoms
• digestive issues like SIBO and the “other stuff” people don’t always talk about
• and most importantly how to build a meaningful life without letting MS define all of it It’s not commercial, there’s no paywall, and I’m not here to “sell” anything. I just know how much it helped me over the years when someone a little further down the road said: “You’re going to be okay. Your life is not over.” That’s the spirit I’m hoping to bring here too. Looking forward to learning from everyone and hopefully helping where I can.
