✨ Unexpected MS Perks : What’s your MS Superpower? ✨

MS takes a lot from us—but has it given you anything in return? It might sound strange, but I’ve noticed that I get a particular kind of headache before it rains. It’s not exactly pleasant, but weirdly, it’s become my own little weather forecast. ☔️ It got me thinking—while MS can be relentless, some of us discover unexpected things along the way. Maybe a new kind of awareness, resilience, or even an odd “sixth sense.” Have you noticed anything you’ve gained from living with MS?

I love that you are looking for the positive in MS. Here is what I found my new superpower is. I have now become a better person to everyone in my life. I have become present in the lives of my loved ones and people I come in contact with. It is like my words have power to heal old wounds and to strengthen and encourage. My shift from self-serving to wanting my life to make a difference has changed my lifes trajectory for the better.

My superpower is thinking about how I can still do things but in a slightly different yet empowering way. I really enjoyed MTB riding fir the adrenaline buzz. I know ride my recumbent trike on forest trails and blue grade MTB routes. Same adrenaline buzz and not necessarily a slower ride ( although I have decided 25 mph with your arse that close to the ground is a superpower to far, so I tend to keep TrikeyBob to no more than 24mp max! It probably my Late mothers influence in that she was an occupational therapist, encouraging people to use the abilities they had with suitable adaptions. Always focused on the positive “ I can!
