Diagnosed this week after a pretty intense flare up
Does anyone have any tips or tricks to help me out as I get used to this? I haven’t started treatment yet but I’m on steroids for my inflammation (very gross and not nice medication I do have to say). Got diagnosed after losing the feeling in my right legand my left leg and left arm becoming weak. I’m a bit incapacitated right now so any tips would be appreciated : )

Vitamin D3 and B12 daily. Diet is helpful as well. I am on the Mediterranean diet. Going to the gym is a big help. It may sound counter productive but it really does help with fatigue. It helps with balance and keeping your muscle strength. Also it gives the benefit of neuroplasticity. Gravitate to things that will build you up such as God and pray. Don’t just give up on things you like to do. You may have to modify how you do something’s but do them. It is a shock at first but you will gain a new perspective on life. Something’s that you thought we’re important you will see really weren’t. You will find the genuine people in your life. Good luck and God bless.
What kind of steroid are you on ? My first symptom was numbness in left arm and was moving quickly to my entire left side When I was diagnosed in 1994 they only had PREDNISONE (steroid) to offer It worked very well for my flare ups from 1994-1996 Then they just STOPPED Haven't had a flare up since & NO DMT's Thanks for the Blessing 🙌 God 😁
