Hello, I have a question here for anyone that reads it and is willing to answer, to get to know all of us better.
Where are you from originally? I was born in Michigan and lived in New York for a large portion of my life. I went to high school in Virginia Beach and went to undergraduate in New York. I finished law school in DC.
Also, do you have family near where you live now? If so, how helpful would you say that's been?
Hello. I grew up in Frederick, MD, moved to Martinsburg, WV where we raised our 2 kids. We moved into a 55+ community in Frederick 3 years ago. My Mom has been my advocate, my chauffeur ( I haven't driven in more than 10 years) and my best friend. She lives on the opposite side of the community.☺️ I am very fortunate to have family nearby. I wouldn't have it any other way!
@Niccole I can totally relate to having the benefit of family nearby. My mother is currently living in my guest room and she does more than a home attendant would be able to do. I recently purchased the property next door and my mother may be moving in there as her semi permanent residence.
