Hello everyone! I was curious if anyone experienced occipital neuralgia due to MS. I recently had pain in my neck when I was turning my head and I thought it’s nothing big maybe some injury from working out. But then after like 2 days I started having this horrible headache. I went to the urgent care and the doctor there said that it doesn’t really look like MS just more like small injury and I was given Cyclobenzaprine to relax my muscles. But it’s been over a week and I still have headache every single day. I started reading a little about what it could be and occipital nauralgia match exactly to the pain I am experiencing. And then I read that in fact occipital neuralgia could be caused by new lesion in the cervical spine. I am very nervous because I haven’t had any new lesions for over 2 years and my MRI are scheduled in a month.
