Fatigue

Help - so here I am after spending another day feeling beaten by the exhaustion, I’ve been doing all the pacing stuff etc for months now & I just feel so damn exhausted I can barely motivate myself - I’ve been off work for nearly a year & feeling like I will never get to the point where I can return, any help/ advice would be greatly appreciated. ;)

@colinr I can only empathise. In those cases, I try to see if I can comfort myself that i've had very bad phases like that, to see that they end. For advice, depends on how much of the "pacing stuff etc" you have tried and how much appetite you have for trying some more / new ones... Did that come on suddenly, or is it like 'the standard ' but has been slowly getting worse? Anything that changed in your life recently,work or physical activity wise? Have you had a recent bout of illness? How much caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, sugar and sugar heavy foods do you consume? What kind of pacing strategies do you use (that's the hardest for me)? How's your sleep? How much movement are you getting? How do you rest when you do?

This sounds like an interrogation, but I'd rather not give you the annoying, general advice. It's also questions I find helpful to ask myself in those circumstances
