Ms relapse clinic

I’m so sorry this may be a long post🫠 I have recently had my official diagnosis earlier this year, and this will be my first time visiting an MS relapse clinic due to symptoms popping back up and now experiencing what I think is a lurching gait? I’ve had a bit of a stressful few days and I’m a bit nervous about this visit, I just wondered if anyone could maybe tell me what the appointment will entail and what tests they are likely to do? My symptoms I have noticed popping back up for reference are: •Spasms at night time in my lower body (flexor spasms, extensor spasms and clonus) •I have diagnosed optic atrophy, but I have been experiencing a flare up I believe in my (R) eye having pain, blurred/foggy vision and a throbbing sensation along with light sensitivity •Stumbling on my words or getting stuck when speaking •A lot more easily overstimulated •Tremors in arms and legs •Extreme pain in abdomen (I am unsure if this is related but i think my MS may be the reason for my extreme stomach issue that has been mistaken as multiple things and is still undiagnosed 2-3 years later which I will mention tomorrow too) •And newly starting as mentioned above lurching gait I appreciate any advise or help that anyone can offer just to put me at a little bit more ease before I go, I know I’m probably overthinking it 😅🫶🏼

Okay. Welcome first of all! Glad you’re here. Dont say sorry. Everything you listed somebody with MS has dealt with it some way or another. -spasms MS -Optic Atophy I have not dealt with, I’m sure some can better. -Stumbling on words MS -Overstimated MS -Tremor in legs and arms MS -Extreme pain in Abdomen. Funny thing is I just answered that question for someone else and her name is Chloe too! I am going to send you a direct message. Accept it and put the 💩 emoji in the message that you can write back to me. MS All of these things are completely valid so don’t think your suffering alone.
