Does anyone have both MS & Epilepsy?

Hi everyone! I am new here and also here for my husband who suffers from MS & Epilepsy. I know it’s rare … can you share tips on what you do to manage your MS besides the medications? Same question for the epilepsy as well.

I do, both diagnosed in June of this year. Tough to be honest, we expected the MS but not epilepsy on top of it. The likelihood is i think 3 to 5 % for people with MS to also have epilepsy. I have RRMS and am on Kesimpta since July. I started Lacosamide in September for the epilepsy. Made a big difference once I started taking it, definitely an improvement. My neurologist recently suggested to maybe switch Kesimpta to Mavenclad but I want to think about that due to a lot of cancer in my family. The MS is manageable for me, just the tingling leg weakness, headaches, tiredness etc. I do have some cognitive problems. Feel free to reach out anytime.

I do as well. Diagnosed this year with epilepsy. I take seizure prevention medicine (keppra)
