I have been falling down.
I have been diagnosed since 1994. My past flare ups have involved going numb on the right side. Then vertigo, then opticneritis. (forgive the spelling) now. I don't know if what is happening is MS or something else entirely. But, I have fallen down twice in the last 6 weeks. I am going to see my neuro. I have actually been in remission for about 10 years. I did have surgery in January to take care of a healspur. Can't help but wonder if it could all be related. Or am I just searching and reaching.
Thanks
I found out I had MS when I was diagnosed with optic neuritis. I've had double vision in both eyes. Luckily that passed and I haven't had any flare ups since. The vertigo was no fun, BPPV was the cause, but was easily fixed with the Epley maneuver. Now my main problems are fatigue, forgetfulness and neuropathy pain. I've also fallen down a couple times in the last six weeks. I'm not sure if it's MS, or am I just clumsy!
@KarenKay I would guess MS. I fall alot when I have bad days. Most of my falls are not ER type falls. I now use a walker alot. Falls and MS go hand in hand.
