Kesimpta - first dose
Finally had my fist dose of Kesimpta on Thursday afternoon. Bad flu symptoms on Thursday evening/night and slightly elevated MS symptoms now but all exactly as expected so far. Glad I’ve finally got started.
Are people on Kesimpta more cautious about mixing with people? Particularly during flu season.
I’m cautious in large groups during flu season and will mask up as needed and i’ve always been an avid handwasher. Just got a covid booster and will probably get a flu shot next month, two weeks before my next Kesimpta dose. I make the request of family and friends to let me know if they are getting sick so we can reschedule plans. So far i’ve only been sick once in almost 2 1/2 years on Kesimpta and i’ve been to multiple weddings, funerals, baby showers, concerts and on lots of trips.
Kesempta is an excellent med at least for me because I’ve been taking it for over 2 years n no new lesions or relapses thank God! I take flu shot every year n haven’t noticed anything bad since I’ve been taking this medicine!
