Home air conditioning UK

I live in the UK and summer is getting increasingly hotter and longer. I've made efforts to reduce heat at home but I'm seriously considering a big slash of💲💰🤑 on a decent air conditioning unit. Any personal recommendations beyond what I can find on Google/Amazon reviews?? Thank you in advance x

Don’t get the portable crap. Get a good one. It will change your life.

Some of the portable ones are rubbish, but not all. And if you get a good one they still get the job done for much less money initially. Fully fitted air conditioning would be the best way providing you can afford it, allowed to install it and have the outdoor space available. If getting a portable ignore the hyped up sales pitch and aim for the higher btu output as it will need to run less. As always check honest reviews of everything.
